It's finally happening. I'm so happy to be releasing my second album, called Drangar, in November 2024. It's a sequal of sorts of my first album called Strengur Stranda the came out in 2014. Both albums are inspired by my fathers childhood home in very far far away land in the Westfjords.

On this album l not only use my voice as an instrument l also play my Barytonesax aswell as the flute. The lyrics are mine and are in Icelandic and are my first released songs in my native tounge. The theme is nature and day to day life.

This album has a more jazzy feel to it than my first one with nice arrangements for rythm section and strings. It's a collecion of sweet lyricial songs that everybody can enjoy.

I was very fortunate to have a wonderful people to collaborate with on the album. Everybody exemplied so much joy and respect for the project and l am very much looking forward to continue my work with them. The album was recorded in Sundlaugin studios in April and May 2024, aswell as Úslandía studio.

Anniversary edition on vinyl

My first album, Strengur Stranda, was released in 2014 and so l'm celebrating a 10 year anniversary. So for that reason l want to have made a special anniversary limited editon, a 7" vinyl with two of the most popular songs from the album, Kría and Móri. It's a very special production for it will be cut in Iceland in Stúdíó Síló and only in limited amount. So this will make a good collectors item.
